Courses at the Institute of Thermodynamics

The institute's teaching focuses on the basic compulsory lectures Thermodynamics I and Thermodynamics II in the bachelor's program, and on Thermodynamics of Phase Equilibria and Seperation Technology as an elective course in the master's program. Other lectures are linked to the main research topics of the institute, such as Heat Transfer II - Boiling and Condensation, Numerical Heat Transfer, Fuel Cells and Water Electrolysis, Refrigeration Cycles and Heat Pumps as well as the module Renewable Energies, which is offered in cooperation with the TFD. Important in the field of university teaching are also laboratories and the student theses.
